Drawn Together Exhibition
Drawn Together was a creative response to a national crisis. Developed and facilitated by Merlin Evans and Eve Loren, and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the project invited people aged 50 and above to connect, explore and play.
Adopting a blended model of fortnightly online and offline creative activities over 6 months, Drawn Together sought to build a community of the curious.
Using a diversity of visual prompts inspired by global artists and activists, and incorporating found materials and hand-made tools, Drawn Together aimed to democratise the art making process and encourage the artist in us all.
Building on the connections and conversations that took place throughout the online sessions, participants co-produced a Manifesto to lead others towards playful experimentation, radical self-acceptance and care.
With open hearts and curious minds - we're Drawn Together.
