Seeing Sound brings together a partnership between The British Library, the Free Space Project (London) and The Brain Charity (Liverpool) to explore language through natural sounds taken from The British Library’s extensive sound archive. The project was designed for people living with aphasia, an impairment in language following an injury to the brain, most commonly from a stroke in the left hemisphere.

Visit the Exhibition in Person:

The work is being physically displayed at Free Space Project within Kentish Town Health Centre (London) from 26th May until 20th July. Please observe social distancing, only come in pairs and wear a face mask. The exhibition is on the first floor of the South side of the building. Note: the exhibition is unmanned.
